“I was in the Cape Girardeau/Jackson area for a few days and wanted to play a round of golf. I went online and found Bent Creek in Jackson and am glad I did This is one of the most beautiful public courses I’ve ever played. Perfectly maintained, with flowers on every tee box Not that flowers makes the golf better but it really shows the attention to detail the course puts into keeping the place up and making it look good.
There are 5 sets of tees. The course plays just over 6,000 yard from the middle (white) tees, which is where I played from. I showed up by myself and asked the pro shop to add me to a group so I wouldn’t have to play alone. I was lucky enough to be put with a course marshal (Chris) and his son, so they knew the course very well.
The course is challenging but not overly so. There are no unfair holes. Most of the par 3 holes play fairly….160 to 180+ yards, so no short 100 yard par 3s. Lots of rolling hills, but no big doglegs. Wide open layout so swing away!
I absolutely loved it and hope to play it again next time I’m back in the area.”

”The group from St. Louis would like to thank you once again for the 56 hole weekend. This was my 3rd year and number 19 for the rest of the big group. The course was immaculate and the hospitality was great! We will be returning next year for our 20th year. Keep up the good work and thanks again!”

Amazing is not even the right word!
The course was amazing, the price was even better!!! Greatest place I’ve ever played golf!!!
Great golf!
My favorite course in Southeast Missouri. The greens are phenomenal. I would highly recommend anyone to play here.
Great, challenging find in SE Missouri
I simply love this course. When I’m down here for business I try to make it a point to play the course because of how fun this course is to play. After my most recent round, I realized I played every club in my bag, and for a beginner that played from the regular tees (6000 yds) it’s rare to find a course where I play maybe half of my bag. If you’re able to play in the middle of the day in the middle of the week you can fly through the course in three hours, like I did! I played after a rainfall, but the greens were still fast compared to other courses I’ve played in the region. Don’t be discouraged on the front nine, because things widen up on the back.
